The site of Kingston 2005 is located on NB Route #420 approximately 12 kilometers (about 8 miles) west of Red Bank, on the southernbank of the Little Southwest Miramichi River.  The Little Southwest Miramichi is not to be confused with the main Southwest Miramichi River.  The Little Southwest is a tributary of the main Northwest Miramichi River.

We will begin your final voyage by plunking you smack in the middle of the former town of Newcastle.  (We expect you to find Newcastle - now Miramichi West - on your own!)  Your start off site will be a blue and white monument in the midde of town called the IRVING CAR WASH.

Before departing the IRVING lot, you may wish to purchase some ice and visit the  Miramichi Liquor Store right next door.   It is famous for consistently ranking as Canada's top grossing liquor retailer in the entire nation.

On with your journey!  You drive up the hill from the car wash and take a left at the traffic lights.  You are now on Route 8.

After driving past a big pulp mill, take exit 163, following the 420 to Red Bank, a drive of about 15 kilometers (10 or so miles).  You will pass through the communities of Sillikers and Lyttleton.

You'll be driving by a bridge which crosses to the north side side of the Little Southwest Miramichi.  Do not cross this bridge, but continue on straight for 2.2 km.   The entrance to Mary Leslie's camp is on the right with a white wooden post gate (the only wooden gate along the road). The driveway is quite long, but is easily passable to any sort of vehicle, camper etc.
