Hi,
How is everyone
these days? I'm sitting here in Calgary and giggling at our spring.
+10 degrees until about 7pm then snow showers with about an inch or two
on the ground. It is quite silly. No jacket and then needing boots
and mitts.
Middle age has
struck and I purchased my first pair of reading glasses. My arms
were just getting too short. They are these fancy half glasses.
I'll be able to keep up on my reading.
I received a
fancy new IBM notebook from work and have had fun getting use to it.
It presented some problems intially.
Planning my annual Easter Dinner--about 20 people or so. Great conversation and company. I do the turkey and potatoes and turnips and they contribute the rest.
AM
Hello all. John is that you out in the deep waters? A.M. I must say when is Spring coming, very damp weather. I have been serving a lots dinners , fundraisers for the church, expect to serve 2 hundred tonight. Not all work, we get a great roast beef dinner when we are done. Off to an auction sale, alot of farmers selling out.

Blustery wintry day here on the Miramichi. I had taken this week off and slept the entire week. Ann and I are off to a Ball in Sussex, NB. I can see why my mother and father like Florida, this has been a real winter here on the Miramichi. Snow banks in Tracadie are monsters.
Laura is playing volleyball all day at her High School. She has received an invitation to try out for New Brunswick's Girls Basketball Team which will represent the province at this summer's Canadian Summer Games. Andrew is Moncton playing in Provincials - Midget Hockey. I need a loan - these two are putting me in the poor house. Every weekend they are on the road with their teams staying at hotels, etc etc. Oh well, best they are involved in sports. Andrew has been accepted at St. Thomas U as well as program for Hotel Management which takes place at St Andrew's N.B. He appears to be cut out for the latter as the manager of the Rodd Inn has offered him a job starting May 1. He was there on a high school program, caught on right away to the front desk, reservations, processing visa's etc, they were so impressed with his appititude and personality that they offered him a job. He didn't ask, they offered it to him. He does not really know how lucky he is - can you imagine the number of univesity students etc. who would be looking for a summer job such as this.

Hi All,
Anne Marie, I have very fond memories about your Easter Dinner - was fortunate enough to participate one year if you recall..:) Actually, come to think of it, that was almost ten years ago!
No Patty, that is not me fishing however early in May, I am flying home to do some black salmon fishing with my boss and his son who is 9. There are non-stop daily flights from here up to Halifax and I am renting a car from there. Sure looking forward to it, rain or shine.

Hello,
Do you possibly
have an e-mail address at which I can contact Peter Kingston Byberg.
I am an old friend of his, who would like to re-establish contact with
Peter. My name is John Gray.

Hi John:
Check out www.artizan.on.ca
- Isn't that Guy's site although there is no mention of his name...there
are however a couple of phone #s. From what I can recall, I think
that is him.
Cheers,
Brenda
Incredibly fascinating
site for me to find!!! My father is Paul Kingston Larner Jr. and
the son of Kingston Larner MD. I am not sure he is aware of this
site, but I have emailed him a couple of links to view.
Hi Constance:
The page is dedicated
to the descendants of Sam and Lillian Kingston. Sam was the brother
of Ann Larner and if I am wrong, everyone out there will correct me.
So next question: is Ann Larner your Grandmother or great grandmother?
Cheers,
Brenda (Kingston)
MacKinnon - daughter of William (son of Sam)
Hi all,
Brenda, I am impressed with your knowledge of the family. It seems this website is reaching farther and wider lately. I am really glad to see the interest grow and continue.
It is another wintery day in Miramichi. I was suppose to go to Bathurst this afternoon, but because of the snow and my sleep deprived state, I decided to stay in the office and get caught up on a few things -- including sneaking a peek at the Gill Net Lodge over lunch.
I haven't been sleeping lately because Katie-Rose catapulted out her crib last week and refuses to go back in. She is in bed with me and Ray has been sent to the couch. What is it with children that they sleep at 90 degrees to their parents? Last night I took a cramp in my leg and actually sent her rolling over the edge. Boy was she mad at me! She doesn't have red hair for nothing. Ray and I have a king size bed on order and hope that there will be plenty of room for everyone.
Well, best get
back to work. Take Care everyone.
Good job, Kevin.
It was a tough situation to be in and you made us all proud to be related
to you....ME
Happy Easter to all
It is snowing
and looks more like Christmas than Easter. The turkey will be ready
to be stuffed soon -- 21lbs. I'm running around getting the house
presentable for the 16 guests expected around 5 pm.
Went to Estelle,
my future daughter-in law's wedding shower yesterday. Can't believe
Jayson and Estelle are getting married on May 12, 2001. The shower
was held at his step-mothers home. Met Estelle's mother and sisters--they
were very nice. Jayson then cooked dinner for us and even made a
chocolate cake!
Enjoy your Easter and reflect on the wonderous events in life.

Constance Catherine Larner,
Now would there be any question that someone with such a name would not be related or more directly a direct cousin. What is it with the Kingston clan, that we come up with such great and proud names. Samuel Kingston Vickers, Samuel Weissler, etc. etc. Great to see that you found this web page and we all hope that you will be very much at home with this crowd who indeed share a few common strands of DNA with you.
Kevin
I haven't checked in for awhile and it appears new people are finding us. Cool! I was especially interested in the note from Catherine Larner. Now, who is she exactly? Brenda?? (Catherine, excuse me for talking about you as if you aren't here.) :-) Welcome to the Kingston site and I hope your father finds his way to us as well.
