I want to be first.
Hello, we are all well in Glencoe. Great weather 20 degrees and SUNSHINE.
Mary W., good to hear from you. Anne Marie how is your new
roommate (the DOG)? Brenda how is your MOM ? The two BILLY's
had a great birthday I hear. Hello Carmel - your big day was Sept
30. How old? Do we tell? Love Patty.
Hi all,
Was on the Miramichi
a week or so ago.....beautiful fall days there as they are here in N.S.
Patty, Mom is fine....she was making rolls, highbush cranberry jelly, etc,
etc the Saturday I was there.....Anne Marie, did you head East yet?
Saw your Mom and Dad and Dennis' mother-in-law's wake....they look great...I
think they went to the funeral as well the following day...well, take care
all,
Love,
Brenda
My symapathies
to Cathy and Denis. I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Coster's death.
I did not know until it was over or I would have gone to the wake.
We have been dealing with the sickness and then death of Uncle Carl Doyle--
who lived between Mom & Dad house and mine -- and have been oblivious
to much of the rest going on around us.
JV, I lost your e-mail addy and I need to tell you something. The rest of you will find out soon enough but for now it's a BIG FAT SECRET! neener neener :-)
Mary W.
Helloo, Mary I look forward to further updates on your pending media splash...:)
Sorry to hear about Mrs. Coster - a sad day on the Miramichi.
Speaking of the river, I am home next Wednesday for four great days of flyfishing. (yippee!) Sprinkle some of Mother's home cooking in, a few neighbourly visits with Aunts and Uncles, and it sounds like a nice break. Things remain very glum in the New York City area and business has yet to recover...:(
I have definitely moved to a Halloween crazy area. Everyone has lawn decorations out, skeletons hanging from trees in people's yards - and its only October 3rd!

Today is Miramichi
day. Between heavy traffic with the Holland Tunnel remaining closed
and added security at the airport, my typical hop to Newark airport means
leaving 3 hours earlier than the norm. It will be nice to get away
from everything for a while. JV
Hi all,
Katie-Rose turned 2 on Saturday! I am having a hard time coming to grips with how fast she is growing up. We have Mom & Dad in for supper and then went down to the cottage at Baie du Vin to spend time with the Ritchies. She got the hang of opening presents quite quickly.
I hope everyone
is well and enjoying the fall colours. It is such a great time of
the year! Take Care.....ME
Great to hear about the pumpkin fundraiser, John! I'll look forward to the pics. I guess it's time to get the carving kit you sent me out again. That thing is so cool and we've used it every year since it's arrival. Hope you are enjoying your time on the Miramichi!
Happy Birthday Katie Rose!
Mary W.
Hi,
I couldn't resist....
I am about to leave for my annual weekend with two very dear friends from
my child protection days. We are going to a spa in Miscoka.
I plan to have a few drinks before I get on the plan..
Have a great time
Mary Ellen! All is fine in Nothern Ontario, the weather has been
great the last few days and I took advantage and got a round of golf in...
GREAT for the stress.
John, what a great write up in the paper!!!! I'm so very happy to hear you're continuing your pumpkin carving tradition in NJ! I wanna see pics soon! A friend of mine who lives near you and grew up less than a mile from your display on Durban Ave. is going to be checking this out. Her name is Donna Luzzo and she's in my rescue group. Hope you get to meet her but I realize this isn't a backyard project anymore. Your pumpkins RULE!
Mary W.
John, great article,
I ran a print to pass on to Barry & Robert. But note: Native
B.C. what? Native N.B. Love Aunt Patty
Mwwwwaaaaaaaaahahaaaaaaaaaaaahhhaa!!!!!!!!!!!I It says Heather Kingston up there but it's actually her insane 12 year old daughter! Her message is that her BedBugs website is open and has a whole buncha info about bedbugs! So yeah that's what she's saying so bye bye! And Happy Halloween! Great pumpkins too John!
- Stephanie (aka
Wild Child hehehe)
Stephanie,
You seem to have
the Hallowe'e spirit down pat. It's great! Rebecca is very
excited about dressing up as a princess this year, however Katie-Rose keeps
going around the house saying "I scared". It didn't help matters
when I dressed as a witch to go to work today and laughed at her with my
hideous cackle. I may never get her out of her bedroom tonight let
alone into costume.
Happy trick and
treating everyone!!!
John, your pumpkins
are AWESOME!!!!! You have outdone yourself!
Mary W.
