HI Deborah,

I was going through some photo's and thought I would put this library together for you.

My Cottage, I was the fly fishing son (as I like to say) and this property has been willed to me.  It sits on about three acres along the river bank.

The river there is quite beautiful, The North West Branch of the Miramichi River.

My older brother and sister on the deck with me and another family visiting.

The view off the deck in fall.

The shoreline straight out from the deck.

You can put your canoe in the river and canoe about to town in about four hours.

My mother had about 13 brothers and sisters.  Her family had a reunion in 2000, hard to believe everyone in this photo

derived from her parents (my grandparents).  You can see me in the back in the baseball hat, my Dad (he passed on about four years ago) is in the

plaid shirt on far right side...

(as an aside, my father had 14 brothers and sisters, there are more of them than my Mom's side above.  I have 188 first cousins (or something like that).

This is the Vickers side (all deriving from just my grandparents) , a dated photo, you can see a sprinkling of three aunts who are nuns, I am the stiff guy in brown plaid

on the right side).

Myself and my two younger brothers at home last summer for my nieces wedding.., Will on the left is the Yellowknife elementary teacher, Kingston on

the right is an engineer who has the place down in Florida.

Newcastle, my home town is about 20 miles from the cottage on the main Miramichi River.  It is now a city and connected with the other town across

the river, the place is now called Miramichi city.  Drove many a milk truck over that bridge while working for my Dad's dairy.

This was my older brother Kevin's first day on the job in the Commons in Ottawa as the new Sargent-at-Arms.

His son Andrew and wife Ann were there along with Mom.

With the PM and president of Afghanistan when he was visiting last fall.

The main highway out of our area in New Brunswick heading to Quebec / Ontario..!

The man of the hour at the first masked ball four years ago..;-)

Kingston sent this, you can see the space shuttle take off not far from where we live, night time life offs are spectacular

anyhow, just going through a bunch of files and pasted this and that, hope you like. Cheers John
